SOLIT Socks
SOLIT began in 2019 when founder Olaf Habraken came up with the idea to create socks that do not slip down. 'Who doesn’t know the feeling that the ankle sock slips under your foot again?'. After many ups and downs, successful and failed samples, Olaf decided at the end of 2019 to ask his neighbor boy for advice. To make a long story short; together they founded the V.O.F. SOLIT Retail and are well on their way with a promising concept, creating a sock that is both functional and stylish and does not slip down! The founders like to inspire others to show that realizing a dream can never start too early. With SOLIT, you literally and figuratively stand stronger in your shoes.
The Sophia Children's Hospital
The Erasmus MC-Sophia Children's Hospital in Rotterdam is the oldest and largest children's hospital in the Netherlands. It focuses on care, education, and research concerning illness and health of children aged 0 to 18 years. A team of over 1600 passionate, dedicated, and committed staff provide top care day and night to children and their parents. High quality and safety of care are always central. Because Sophia has everything in-house, it is possible to offer complete care to both children and their parents.
The campaign
If there is a place where active and lively work is done, it is at the Sophia Children's Hospital. The doctors, nurses, and all other involved staff are ready day and night for the children at the Sophia Children's Hospital. Due to the increased pressure in recent times, they need to stand extra strong in their shoes. For that reason, the boys of SOLIT Socks decided to set up a campaign. SOLIT socks donates one pair of socks to the Sophia Children's Hospital for every order in October to ensure that the employees stand extra strong in their shoes with SOLIT socks. Because who wouldn’t rather stand stronger in their shoes?
